Go Green Wear White!!!!!!!!

A Fact : "Lightening roofs and roads in urban environments would offset the global warming effects of all the cars in the world for 11 years"

These thoughts have been there in my mind from long and i couldn't understand why other people can't think the same way as it calls for just using something given by god to every individual in sufficient quantity to make any rational decision.

You guys might have guessed the topic i am talking about from the name and the address of the blog.

Yes its about the "Go Green" initiative taken by almost all the NGO's, colleges, various other institution. Now at least when you want to do good to mother nature one should think about everything that we do and not just the marketed or publicized activity (like planting trees, switching off A/Cs etc.).

The point that i am trying to make is:

Invariably they will print different t-shirts to promote the so called go green initiative right!!!! and the most obvious color should be white but we see them printing and gifting t-shirts in all colors but white. Isn't that insane on one hand we are talking investments in the tune of thousands of rupees and on the other hand we make such irrational decisions.

For those who don't know why white color should be preferred:

Its a scientific fact that any lighter color will absorb less heat then any relatively darker color so the best thing is to make white dress (which will reflect back more in turn reducing the global warming effect) for such occasions and to promote the "Go Green Wear White" thing rather than wear "Green" or some other dark color t-shirts.

I hope to bring out few more basic facts about helping our Mother Earth in near future meanwhile i request everyone

• To increase the number of white garments in their wardrobe
• Try to paint the roofs of your house white
• If possible buy white colored cars i know its difficult but if it suits then why not
